SLJ Practices:Curious Kiwi Needs A Book!

Hi readers,

For the summer learning Practices we have to tell you a book we read this year. why we are doing this because Curious Kiwi is trying to find a book to read on the plane he is going. I'm reading  the bad guys it's mostly pitchers but there are words too. I think it's a good book because its kinda funny.We are going to fly to Australia because my granddad live's there.

Hi and today i'm writing facts about Australia. Here are the facts.

1.Australia is an island country located deep in the Pacific Ocean (to the west of New Zealand). It is made up of 6 states.

2. There are 24.2 million people

3. This is the capital of a Australia Canberra , Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide

4.Varies somewhat but is generally quite tropical. The average temperature in the winter is approximately 15 degrees.

5.There are 14 national holidays. Australia Day is celebrated on 26 January.

6. There is one official language - English.

7.there is Australian, Indigenous Australian and Other

8.the money that they uses is Australian money

9.Australian rules football, cricket, netball, rugby union, rugby league

10.1. The colours - green and gold, 2. The kangaroo, 3. The opal (gem), 4. The Golden Wattle flower, 5. The emu
