Hello today I'm telling you what my name would be if I could change it. I want it to be changed to Chloe.  This name is easier to spell than my name, not hard to say and I think it is a good name for me.  But I might end up changing it another day.

Hello readers, today I'm going to tell you what food I would bring on a ocean voyage trip.

The ten things I would take on the trip are:

The Amazing Magic Show

Duffy Book Day

Hi readers,

On the 4th of July we got duffy books the book I got was Animal Spirit. This book that I have been reading is About Animals who have a spirit. It is the first Animal spirit that they made. Here is a picture of Me and Sonnie and some single photos too.

 

Native Insects side show!!!

Hi everyone. Today I'm going to show you a Native insect slide show.  We had to research 3 native insects. After the side show we have to make one insect.  I have chosen the huhu beetle and I will make it out of paper mache. We Had the option to make it out of clay,paper mache and playdoh. We made a silde of three insects we did huhu beetle,grasshopper and weta. Myself and my buddy had to write five facts about each insect. Here is the silde show that  me and my buddy made.

MIss Mcdonald is leaving

In Room 7 our student teacher is leaving but I don't want her to leave. She was the best student teacher in the world. I will miss her and all the other students will too. She helped me when I needed her. There were so many ways she helped us and Friday is her last day. Here are some photos.

Buddy Class

Hi readers

Last Friday we had buddy class. We made custard creams but first me and my friends made the custard creams Dough. Then when the bell rang we had buddy so we had some dough rolled into a ball. The dough was on some baking paper then we had to flatten it but not to thick. Next we got to make the shape with cookie cutters then they had to bake in the oven.



When the cookies were in the oven we did mindfulness coloring. Then when the cookies were ready I ate my cookie and got a picture here it is.

Winter Sports

Last week we did winter sports. I did a netball for my sports. We got to pick what we were I chose D, it was fun being D. I did not really have to do much because all you do is stand there in till the ball comes near you. But when it comes near you have to defend the other player so they don't get the ball in the hoop. If it goes out of the court then we have to give it to the other team. When the game was over we won and the other team got 1 point then we took a team photo.

Netball practice

Hi readers

On Monday we had netball practice.We did two fun games, one was where we had to hold the ball for two seconds and move straight for two seconds. But then we finished and played the second game.

The second game was where we have to have the ball and move after you have your turn. The fun thing was that you can go to other people's cone and the take it then they have to move to another cone and they can do it to you too. When some one passes the ball to you have to throw it to someone else then you can move.

Canopic jar

We made canopic jar. The first thing I got was yogurt container. Then I got the I a piece of news paper and scrunched it up into a ball Then I did it again till it was like an ice cream. After I did paper mache and I started to place a thin piece of news paper and then after when I was done then we painted the jar and then after one day we got to draw the detail when it dried then when I was done that I got to go next door and paint with the colours where I wanted the colours to be. Here is the final look and here are some other ones.

The amazing zoo

In the holidays me and Shylah were on snap chat.  Then she snap-chatted me again but it was so early in the morning, that I saw it but did not reply. Then Shylah did it again, so I went over to her house, I told here to stand out side her gate. After we went out side her mum came back and she said "girls were going soon". We said "ok".

We went to the zoo and payed to go in. We got some maps. First we saw the meerkats, they were so cute. Then we moved up to the farm animals we were looking for the pigs but instead we found an alpaca.  Then I found some chickens and some lamas. The cool thing was that we were both wearing a lama top. After we saw the tiger we saw the lions and we sang a song to them. Shylah scared it away.

Next we saw the gorillas, there were three of them. They were very big! I watched one chill up high and I saw him go to sleep.

Tinfoil Art

Last term for art we did some tinfoil art. We had to draw a design and then get glue and string. Then when we put some tinfoil on top. Next we colored the tinfoil and then we stuck it on to some pieces of black paper. Then we had the holidays and our teacher put them on the wall.

On Wednesday we attended the health form. We did some things led by our health leaders and high school. I did sign language and Filipino dance. We also did songs, games and had some food. Here are some pictures.

100 word count

Today I'm doing a blog post about 100 word count. It's were you write 100 words and put it into a story. This weeks prompt was 'the vinegar was too sharp.'  Here is my story.

Week 4

I was walking to the kitchen and I was hungry and I saw some vinegar.I got the vinegar and ate
the vinegar was
too sharp a spat it out. Then my mum came in
and said “ew you're disgusting” and I said “So.” Then I got some chips and got a bowl and put it
in the bowl and
put my chip in there and it was good. So I kept
on doing it and till I ran out of chips then when I was done I got some new chips and did it all again.
It’s so good.

Tissue Art

On Tuesday we did tissue art. We had to to take a photo of our self. Then we drew what we looked like but I needed help so I asked if I could get some help then the teacher drew it for me. Then I had to do the outline of the drawing. Later it was the end of the day. When it was the next day I came to school and put the tissue on. Next I had to wait for it to dry and then I was almost done because all I had to do is glue the picture on a black piece of paper. Then I was done and the teacher hung the art up.
